The Vassalord Deluxe is STUNNING

The actual cover feels velvety, and it feels very nice, but personally it's not my favorite since it's prone to showcasing fingerprints. Aside from that I love everything else. The pages are in pretty high resolution, and there doesn't seem to be any gutter issues.

I'm so happy to see this series getting a reprint. Hopefully this time around Tokyopop will get to release the full series.

They better not go under before they finish! Imagine my surprise when then announce the deluxe editions (mine got here today too!) and then a month after I preorder I start hearing the rumors of how bad they’re doing financially 😭

It's pretty much a cyborg vampire x vampire BL, and they do dirty work for the Vatican. I remember really liking this one years ago. Tokyopop originally only published the first 4 volumes (7 in total).

Here is the synopsis from MAL:

"Charley, a cyborg vampire who does the Vatican's dirty work, is the thrall of the local vampire playboy Johnny Rayflo. As the two fight crime—and each other—hilarity, violence and sacrilege ensue! Weird title to get a revamp (no pun intended). I found a couple volumes secondhand once and they were… okay. But maybe it just wasn’t to my taste, even though everything about it should have been up my alley. I just bounced off it.

Then again, maybe it was just the old shitty Tokyopop translation.
