... I've gone a little overboard this month so far but in my defense... I have been also been reading a lot because of the cozy weather lol 👻✨️

I hope that everyone else has also been having a great spooky season and that they've been reading some fantastic series lately! I'm easily influenced and flew through the first 8 vols of Firefly Wedding yesterday (oops just realizing that I forgot to include vol 8 in the picture) and I'm planning on reading Vassalord next!

What have you been reading lately? Something eerie? Something comforting? Or something entirely different?

Recently got volume 2 of girls last tour but when i opened it, it says volume 3

Hey folks, John DarkHorse here 🫡

This time, I’ve got an update for my manga shelves :). Both the full shot & my SBR collection.

I finally built my third shelf! For those wondering, the near-empty middle section is awaiting the arrival of GANTZ Deluxe Edition & other Oku series 😛😛😛

I’ve already come to terms with the fact that I’ll need another shelf, eventually. So be it 🤷‍♂️.

If anyone is going please post photos of the exhibit. I went eight times when it was in San Francisco a year ago and got autographs from two mangaka.

It looks like they are going with the same lineup of mangaka and probably will announce if any of them will be making an appearance. The unlimited fan pass is only $75 and it lets you bring one guest for free. (It was $108 in San Francisco.)

I assume this is part of that backorder policy they announced a few months ago.

And, we can extrapolate from this tweet that other OOP Seven Seas titles might be getting reprints too.

not the biggest manga collection, (or collector) but I’m happy with it

Still cant believe this is mine!

I am thinking on getting the second volume soon!

I want to encourage reading as much as I can. When I discovered my sons enjoyed animes I went straight to mangas. I was like hey it’s a book lol eventually I want to complete every series you see here and discover more for them. It’s exciting adding to their collection and I love how they light up when I surprise them with new volumes. They’ve read everything here except for the new additions I picked up today which are Nagi volume 1 , Haikyuii volume 5 , and Digital Circus. I have more in my cart lol

Claymore just got republished in a new format here in Brazil. Claymore Remix is kind of a 3-in-1 edition, and the first volume comes with a card, a bookmark and a sticker! It'll be 8 volumes total. I really like this new edition. Panini (the publisher) did the same with Bleach and One Piece, so probably there are more to come!

Well there we go I just need the omnibus for 25,26&27 then I'll be caught up to the manga until they do 28,29&30 one of it feels good to finally have all these this one came in today for 16,17&18 i thought it be so hard to get this omnibus since it’s going up in price and here’s all what I have for the mangas 💖💖💖💖

Got these from eBay, Amazon, and Third Eye Comics

Always tried to keep the collection to one side of the room and without double rows, but at 2.4k+ volumes it's become impossible to do so. One of the bookcases is behind the weird wall offset, so couldn't get it all in a single photo.

been collecting for a while now, mainly off of facebook marketplace and local op shops and bookstores. the naruto 1-6 were from my childhood and i decided i wanted to collet the full series in the most yellowed tattered 2nd hand condition possible bc i love the aesthetic of the old well loved manga. the rest of the collection im very precious and particular with lol. feel free to ask questions or give me any recommendations.

Also eye spy Kitagawa lol.

For the Berserk fans... a super cool artbook from The Great Berserk Exhibition that was done in a few cities in Japan back in 2021 or so, plus South Korea, I believe. You can still find these in a few places online plus on auctions sites like eBay, and I'm sure elsewhere. The book is 220+ pages in length and includes a 6+ page interview with Kentaro Miura.

Has anyone else picked up a copy yet? :D Only negative is sadly the book is not sewn bound and suffers from a decent amount of gutter loss on the 2 page spreads :-/

I did a video flipping through every single page for anyone interested:
