Hi everyone,

I'm curious about the position of being an Invigilator at Mac. Is it hard? Do you always have to carry a lot of the exam papers? Is it harder than customer service jobs at retail?

Thank you

Can anyone share what outline/structure they used for bioethics case studies?

Do we need to memorize the specific names of the volcanoes and stuff? Or do we just have to know the concepts?

Any tips for the midterm or advice on how to study for it?

Hi everyone. This may not be directly school related, but I’m a second year student who works 16 hours over the weekends and usually some closing shifts on Friday nights. As of the start of the school year, I’ve began to HATE weekends solely because I have to work. I work in a Fortinos bakery, and I’ve been working there since before I came to McMaster. My income from there allows me to have so many of the things I do, but at the same time, I feel so miserable about those 8 hour shifts. I know this may sound ungrateful, and you better believe that I know how blessed I am to even have a job, but I can’t shake this feeling off. I want to quit and find another job, but also feel like that would be a huge mistake. I’d be happy to not have to go there anymore, but I would regret it at the same time, if you know what I mean. I’ve met so many amazing people through this job and this job has done so much for me. I’m not sure what to do. Any advice?

Same as question really, I want to join volleyball and basketball mixed intramural sports at mac but I didn't figure out how to or really have the time to until recently. I've joined on IMLeagues as a free agent to both, and I plan on trying to go in person to connect and meet some other people, is there a possibility of me actually being able to join those teams/anything else I should do?

Hi guys, I recently submitted the request form for LIFESCI 3RP3. I was wondering if anyone knew what the next steps are from here? How do I know if I'm approved? Is it possible to get rejected?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to join McMaster as a Postdoc in 2 months. This will be my first time in Canada, and I dont know much of the housing. Please share your suggestions for the housing?

I see many posts regarding student housing, but so far couldn't for researchers. Any postdocs here who can help me navigate it?

Thank you

hey guys! I'm looking for someone local to help out with a project. I want to make graffiti styled stickers similar to these!

Hello everyone.
Looking for actors/writers/filmamkers etc for my new short film series.
Just wanted to try something new and explore further ideas.
Have completed the first part and would turn it into a mini series.
You don’t have to be a professional lol.
If anyone is interested; let me know!

i found the two first year eng holygrail gdrives but none of them have anything about 1p13 in them. i wonder if anyone has anything.

Was the first test hard? Also, if I have semi paid attention to the course, should that still be ok?

Any insight and advice for studying is appreciated! :)

Hey! I'm in second year nursing and have my first patho midterm coming up on Monday.

For anyone who's taken HTHSCI 2LA2 before, how did you find the midterm? Were the questions mostly straightforward or more application-based?

Also, what helped you study effectively? Any tips on what to prioritize or how detailed the questions get would be really appreciated!

Its kinda hard ngl without any study guide to go off of/ past midterm exemplars. I was wondering how you guys are studying for it and what sort of info you decided to put on your study guide?

i need this plz 🙏

I’m in CS and used to joke about hair fall, I had thick luscious hair with no signs of hair fall, but for the past 4 months or so it’s so bad that I think I’m gonna go bald soon. Please give me a solution I’m so depressed about this, I already have enough stress in life I don’t wanna look at my hair in the shower and see 200 strands in my hands again

Unfortunately I was not able to get free choice, and I was wondering what peoples averages were when they were choosing which Eng they wanted to do first year

has anyone taken this course previously? what was the midterm like? 🥲 she said that most of the questions are application-based, but I’m not exactly sure how specific she’s going to be
