context for those that don’t play tf2 , there’s this PVE mode in tf2 called mann vs machine . A team of 6 players maximum against an army of cpu robots . What’s important here is that there is a gambling aspect .

1 dollar per mission, you play about 3-4 missions a tour and you get a drop . This drop is usually pretty meager but there’s a very small chance you get something valuable like a golden gun or the golden frying pan that’s worth thousands of actual real life dollars .

The game mode is really fun BUT there’s a split in the community with cheating to speed up the item farms since it takes a looooooot of runs. The 3 camps being cheaters , people against cheaters, and people that don’t cheat but are neutral about it .

The cheater side I mostly just explained with their justification being it’s not like pvp where it’s ruining the experience for the other players and it’s just speeding up drops .

The anti cheater side of course wants to preserve the the integrity of the game mode and tf2 has had a horrible past with cheaters on the pvp side with the game being rendered unplayable at one point . Not to mention cheaters speeding up drops lowers the value of their existing items by inflating the market with more supply.

And the neutral party don’t cheat themselves nor do they necessarily WANT to but they appreciate the faster slot machine pull and won’t start the kick

Basically, there was a post regarding a uber driver coming back at 3 am to a girls apartment trying to hit on her. The post talks about the girl’s boyfriend shooting the uber driver, while failing to mention that the driver was complying with the boyfriend, later flat on the ground, got hit in the head and then got shot. Is it moral to imply that someone is a creep and is sympathizing with the uber driver if he suggests that shooting people should be last resort and that police should be called instead? Yes, that happened to me. Basically I must be a creep because I prefer to use law instead of guns if possible. Bonus points on morality scaling blocking the accused after accusing him of
