Hey everyone… it happened.. first time anime watcher girlfriend finally made it to Paul’s death. Boy was this a hard one.

She genuinely like no fake stuff cried for a while after the episode and we had to take a while before resuming. She loved Paul and I assured her going in he didn’t die because she asked.. which made it hit even harder.

I don’t fake these reactions, she is really locked in on the show and doesn’t notice my phone because I hold it pretty stealthily, but I always get her permission after to post these videos.

She also cried at Norns reaction and crying when they got home, gosh man give dubs and this dub the hate you want but fuck did Norn’s VA kill those crying screams.

Girlfriend loved Paul, and really was excited for him to go home and see the baby. Grandpaul..

Here are some S2 reaction updates though if you want to know!

1. Went super stupid crazy for Rudy and Sylphy cave scene where Rudy finally FINALLY figures out Sylphys identity as Fitz, she was jumping on the couch, screaming with joy! I have a video but just didn’t post it because I don’t want these to be too frequent, want them to keep their charm. She was rolling around giggling with joy, she LOVES Sylphy.

2. Was happy when ruijerd returned, “daddy’s back!” He is daddy, fr

3. Ready the troops because I’m ready to fight any of you alongside GF because FUCK ROXY! I can’t stand her taking advantage of Rudy knowing he has a child, and knowing she trained him as a child. He’s down and despite him pushing her away just keeps going and takes what she wants like fuck was that shit hard to watch, I have no clue how any of you like her. Maybe the LN makes her more likeable, but the anime just makes her seem like this absolute selfish trash. GF feels the exact same way.
(Before you comment that they both don’t follow the religion that believes in monogamy, save your breath. The only words I could offer my gf is that in these medieval ish times it was common for multiple wives to occur amongst rich families who could support that many children, but neither of us like it.)

4. Appreciation from GF on Norn episode dedicated to her being in her brother’s shadow. Something my gf has experienced first hand within her own half Asian family where her mother treated her the same way and people her whole life were disappointed she wasn’t as smart as her brother, so i could tell she really loved that and had some feels.

5. Thanks for reading and keeping up with us!!! I love posting and seeing the feedback!

New official art of the 3 goddesses as, actual goddesses! This new art will be used for new merchandise in Japan. Sooo jealous cause maaaan lemme tell you my beloved Goddess of War Eris is just so. damn. FINE! 🤤😍 Eris supremacy always! (The other 2 are pretty too tho)

Gal Farion gave Eris a lot of advice on how to fight Orsted and "apparently" thought she could defeat him someday

As we all know that is bs, and Gal as someone who has faced Orsted before should have known that no one in this world can defeat Orsted, so did he encourage her to go against Orsted despite knowing that she would lose?

Was he really so naive to think that Eris had a chance against Orsted or did he want her dead?

Eris is my #1 she is the most dedicated. In the alt timeline she is in the trenches for her mans even tho he is just focused on revenge. In the alt timeline Sylph just dips because Rudy lost his shit. Roxy traveled the world for Rudy and his family. Honestly, I don't see enough appreciation for what Roxy did. Traveling the world isn't a walk in the park she sacrificed a lot to do that. Sylphy just met him at the right time. If he didn't meet Syplhy first I don't think the other 2 would've been as receptive. Sylph is by far my least fav, but THEY'RE ALL GREAT, and fill dif roles. Just wanna add something nobody is wondering I'm anime only, but ik about spoilers from the LN's. I did listen to all 3 redundancy's because idk if the main series focuses on his family as much. All that to say Eris will always be my goat I love a good tsundere esp with one that has a much depth that Eris has. I love all my MT enjoyers. <3

I am a guy who watch a lot of romantic stories, even though it has became meme but in a serious note this is a big Misopportunity, two people from the same planet same country same city meet each other, that would have been absolutely great if handled properly, but MT author have a habit of wasting opportunities and destroying characters, (note I am not a big fan of rudeus x nanahushi, just it would have been great as a story)

Mushoku Tensei truly conveys the theme that ‘the past reflects the future’ in a magnificent way. Following the promise Rudeus made to Paul at the end of Season 2, in Season 3 the author seemed to be conveying the message that Rudeus had truly taken Greyrat’s place and had now become a family man. At the same time, it clearly shows us that, in terms of his development, whilst he has not forgotten where he came from, he has transformed into a character who is now far beyond his former self.

So I was rewatching the anime and did he make a female figure of himself?

Rudy...

Hi. I just watched episode 12 of season 3, and I want to share a thought, a sensation I felt, during the vision of the episode that was similar to an experience I went through playng Dark Souls 1.

In the episode, near the end, we see Rudeus VERY carefully approaching the basement and, without opening the door, he freezes the inside of the room in the hope to kill the mouse without letting it escape by accidend by opening the door, and until actually inside he did't knew if he succeded or not, or even if he would found something at all. And the tension was really thick, because a fail meant death for Roxy and then all bad things in the future. He also burns the leftover food, just to be safe. Like a videogame in which you reload a save after your playthrough goes bad and you try to fix it by reloadin and old save. Ever Rudeus hint a something like this.

Why Dark Souls 1? Well, when I played DS1 many years ago I went spoiler free, everithing was a discovery and I did't look up anithing on the internet, in order to enjoy the game more. One day after defeating Quelaag and exploring the surrounding areas I was courious and searched online a bit of lore to better understand the enviroment, without spoilering how to play the game, just the lore. While reading i stubled upon a sentence, something like: "Solaire will die if the player doesen't do this". I was pissed because a spoilered something to myself but at this point I looked up why Solaire dies and is basically the same situation with Roxy, kind of.

Solaire wanders in Lost Izalith and stumble upon a room, inacessible for the player unless you do questionable alliances, and get infected by a spider like creature and turn him mad and later when you find him again you have to kill him. Sad. But reading a guide in order to save him I reached the room and from outside the door I casted a venom type spell that killed the spiders without enteringbthe room, so later I found Solaire still sane and alive. And after I continued with my game spoiler free.

I wantet to write down and share this because in that moment I was tense, because I knew that was a risky manouver and failure meant Solaire death. A bit like Rudeus in the basement. I don't know if I explained myself good enough but here we go. Just a though.

What do you think? I'm overthinking? 😂

Someone else saved Solaire in this way? I'm courious!

It was such a beautiful story

Reading all the fights, bonding moments, comedy and lore really has me excited

And yeah I can see why people started hating Luke here

Ok I'm late to the party.

I recently started watching this anime thanks to Netflix recommendations.

I am really enjoying anime after a long time. Anime to me was always an escape to a world that didn't exist and this one brought back that feeling after a long time.

I'm still on s2 ( no spoilers please ).

Man I love the pacing of this show, I binged watched and I kept wanting to watch more and more. We legit got to see Rudeus grow up, level up. The characters are great, the fan service is just right.

In s1 I enjoyed the intro as well, they added music to ongoing scenes, I liked that compared to a music video that we all collectively skip.

They touch so many real topics - consent(ok ok) , ED, sibling overshadowing.

I felt that win feeling after a long time ~ when Sylphy came back && that sadness when he found Eris missing. How casually he was speaking to people about his problems and a lot of people actually helped him (only Princess Ariel laughed at his condition and later apologized)

The teleportation incident was so sudden with no build up, introduction of another Japan resident (nonohashima?)

The fight choreography between Luke & Rudy was fun, it felt like a fight. Everything back to back.

Speaking of sudden actions with no buildup -- Rudy tried to kill himself when Sara overheard him, picked up the dagger and then Sol saved him. There was no bs of showing the dagger then Rudys face, then the dagger again, then sad Rudy.

I was worried this will be some mid sh*t like highschool dxd but this writing is good and pacing is amazing.

Taking into account he has been looping for so long and his curse, does he feel lonely or sad? Does he even have emotions like other people?

I suppose I still have a lot to do... You all know more about Mushoku Tensei than I do. Could you help me decide what I might build in the areas of the Central Continent for which there is no information?
