His net worth is about a billion tho isn’t it?

Yea and you can point to exactly why. McCartney was a genius and a brilliant artist and still doesn’t have a billion. Tell me what these other actual billionaires have given us other than war, division, rape, sickness, and hunger.

Well net worth doesn’t inherently mean he actually has that money tho does it? The man’s song catalogue that he actually owns alone is probably close to that value

Billionaires don't actually have a billion in cash; it's always tied up in assets.

People just picturing Bezos curled around a pile of gold coins like Smaug.

I’m just saying it’s disingenuous to compare a billionaire like Bezos to one like Paul McCartney who’s value is literally because of the significance and longevity of his art.

A considerable chunk of Paul's net worth is from real estate investment, but I do agree that bezos and mccartney are worlds apart. Beyonce would be more comparable, but I don't doubt her wealth involved more unethical moves given the timeframes and relative success involved.

Being rich isn't like in the Scrooge McDuck comics. No one they say "is a millionaire" has all of that money sitting around in a giant safe somewhere.

Have no idea . Either way , my opinion is that none of these “celebrities “ are really useful to society other than entertaining us . Most have some moral rot to them

“McCartney is not a billionaire”
“Have no idea”
(He is and it took 5 seconds to look it up lol)

The fucking “look it up “ shit just to shit on people is fucking old

I mean it’s kind of annoying that people carry the entire weight of human knowledge in their pocket and can’t be bothered to use it

Right? You've got a magical rectangle in your hand that can answer any question, if you're ignorant about something like this it's because you want to be.

Not as much as people pulling shit out of their ass then deflecting or throwing hissy fits when they’re fact checked.

30

u/Gravy_Sommelier Sep 05 '26

What's fucking old is people acting like toddlers when they're called out for being incorrect.

11

u/DaRealBSleazy Sep 06 '26

Well stop being ignorant and just fucking google something instead of talking out of your ass, which also happens to be where your head is.

16

u/angry_old_dude Sep 05 '26

No it isn't. If someone is going to make a statement like "McCartney isn't a billionaire" it's a good idea to actual make sure it's true.

8

u/Mr_Halitosis Sep 06 '26

If you’re too fucking lazy to take 5 seconds and actually know what they’re fuck you’re talking about, you aren’t a person worth knowing.

21

u/pay_the_cheese_tax Sep 06 '26

I mean...maybe don't straight up and lie about shit just to try and wind an argument? I dunno, it's just a thought

16

u/mc_bbyfish Sep 05 '26

He is a billionaire

5

u/EpiphanyTwisted Sep 05 '26

13

I've never heard of Paul McCartney being famous for being wealthy. He's famous for being Paul McCartney.

9

u/lloydthelloyd Sep 05 '26

He was in some band or something.

7

u/Blue-Ringed-Octopus0 Sep 05 '26

Yea, it was Wings or something like that.

1

u/Legohed Sep 06 '26

“They’re only the band The Beatles could have been”

1

u/orcus Sep 06 '26

I'm pretty sure he's the guy in that weird experimental group the Fireman.

6

u/RebaKitt3n Sep 05 '26
