Macklemore and Aaron need to start a "Free Palestine" tour. I'd pay good money to support this

Lukas Graham dropped out, too. He made a fantastic statement that aligns with human decency. Give him some love, too.

Problem is the rich people who own the stadiums and concert halls wouldn't allow that. They wouldn't be playing in the US.

There are all kinds of mid level venues all around the country in cities of every size. Not everything has to be at a massive arena. Bring the music to the people.

But they could play in Europe and sell streaming access to Americans for $20 and donate that money to charity.

The us is becoming more and more irrelevant by the day. So what they will sell out everywhere else. The world aint just the failing states

The US is still by far the world's largest economy, and a higher per Capita consumption spending than any other country. It absolutely will remain a destination for artists looking to make big money

Yeah 330 million vs 7 billion. Your a market in decline.

I'm not American. And yeah, they do world tours as well, but nowhere is close to the same level of commercialism

A Macklemore , Aaron and Tom tour coincidentally would probably sell many tickets off of the back of this shit show

Honest question: how would that actually help Palestine?

2

It would reward the people who are willing to standup for the right thing, while simultaneously signaling to others that might be nervous or on the fence about coming out.

Additionally, it proves that the "the bad guys" aren't able to silence dissent.

The momentum of support is what will eventually lead to change.

That really doesn't explain how it would help Palestinians. Like, the millions of people who actually live in Palestine and are Palestinian. It sounds like, for you at least, it would just be textbook virtue signaling.

We just sent 3 billion dollars to Israel to bomb the ever loving shit out of Gaza.

Want that to stop?

Then get the US to stop electing AIPAC lapdogs.

The way you do that is by garnering public support and start open discussion of how absolutely fucked Israel is.

So yea, I'd say thats a pretty clear way to "help Palestinians"

I obviously want the bombs to stop but I just don't think the new boogeyman AIPAC, or attending a free palestine concert, have even the remotest of impact in solving the conflict between israelis and palestinians. They'll continue to want each other's lands and continue to kill each for it regardless of how many "AIPAC lapdogs" (whatever that Nazi rhetoric even means) are in congress and regardless of some random concerts in boston and philly lol
