I know every word to Downtown. It's my favorite party trick to pull out of my hat. Now, it does help that I work in events and hear a lot of popular music at it's height... but I can't really even say that's why I know it all. It's a jam. It's fun. It's okay to enjoy things just for fun, people! Not everything has to be an author's best book, an artist's best song, a poet's best poem. Sometimes you can just enjoy it as it is.

I introduced Thrift Shop to both of my grandsons a few weeks ago and I am a big goddamn hero now. Fortunately their parents are cussers.
