Is this maybe because you don't know any better? I have never seen an arena show that beats the energy at smaller venues outside of MAYBE seeing Rammstein live lol.

I have been to smaller shows and to larger shows - Literally all I've said is "Hey you know what? Some people enjoy arena shows and it's ok to feel that way."

Stop being elitest.

How is it being elitist to understand that paying $20 for a beer, $50 for parking, and $300+ for a ticket for possibly nosebleed seats where you need binoculars to see the performers sucks and absolutely, positively, cannot compare to seeing smaller acts at smaller venues?

There are venues that are in-between dive bars and gigantic arenas as well that are sufficiently big but still allow you to get a good experience.

The elitest part is continuously suggesting that other people should value things the say way that you value them and that their musical and venue tastes should fall more in line with your music and venue tastes.

All I've ever said is that small shows are awesome, but dont knock people who are enjoying those bigger shows. . .Like that's my whole opinion. . ."Dislike arena shows, but dont look down on people who do."
