You don't need to seek out anything. You need to show up. You're certainly free to seek out if you want to, and I do. But I just showed up at a concert yesterday to a band I knew next to nothing about. Was a good time.

Yep! If anything, just show up to a local venue to socialize with people, and if you enjoy the band, its a bonus!

One of my favorite things to do when traveling, especially internationally, is go to live music. There's always new things to find.

Hell even now one of the bands I found in Thailand is in heavy rotation for working/studying
