A hundred comments so far on this post and every single one just completely misinformed and spreading blatant misinformation. It is honestly sad this is the current state of our media environment.

These were not “new” versions. She just made old versions free on streaming which doesn’t block anything. Actually it hurts her more than it helps her in the charts because it decreases sales because now people can stream the songs for free.

People on this thread are just dumb and proud. Global Spotify chart came out today, and guess what, Patient Zero was nowhere to be seen and both Tate and Olivia were in the top 5. How do people think Taylor would “block” them with a couple of prereleased acoustic versions, idk… but she should take it as a compliment
