We're all familiar with Prop 40 by now, but did you know Prop 42 is designed to cancel it out? There are endless commercials lying about "Sacramento taxing your retirement" and it's all bullshit. The lowest tier they've tried to tax is incomes of $400K a year or more, and even that isn't the norm. It would be political suicide to try and and tax middle class savings, especially in this economy. This is intentionally designed to make you scared so that even if you vote yes on Prop 40, Prop 42 will cancel it out.

Billionaires have dumped a hundred million dollars into these campaigns hoping it'll scare you enough to protect them. No one is coming for your savings, they just don't want to pay their fair share. DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!

To those that dont know, there’s a TON of junk hauling trailers parked all around the discovery area in San Marcos.

This guy has been doing this for years as part of some junk removal business and fills up all the neighborhood streets and parking with his shit (trailers, beater cars, broken down trucks, etc.) and will leave these vehicles unattended for weeks. It makes the neighborhood look like a dump and takes up all of the parking in an already crowded area.

Encinitas took all of NC rail funds because they said welcome ice? Does anybody have dashcam footage of an accident that occurred on Thursday (10/15/2026) on Rancho Bernardo Road Near Bernardo Center Drive at around 12:30 PM?

A black Honda CRV exiting I-15 N onto Rancho Bernardo Road hit a Silver Lexus UX250h east bound in the middle lane. The Lexus lost control due to the impact and hit the right kerb and then landed up going over the median into oncoming west bound traffic (thankfully no collision there).

It's been a while since last I do sport semi-serious. I'm a bit out of shape so I want to get back in doing sport to lose the extra fat and keep a healthy heart.

Notes identical to this were tucked neatly under the wiper of all the cars in my parking area, as well as around the block.

A National City councilmember and mayoral candidate visited Encinitas to urge city leaders to abandon a plan to send its unhoused residents to a shelter in his city.

The meeting ended with a deputy escorting Jose Rodriguez out of council chambers when he attempted to respond to an accusation that he had appeared at the meeting not to make his plea about Encinitas’ homeless, but as an opportunity to boost his campaign.

Rodriguez appeared at Wednesday’s hearing to oppose a $369,000 agreement between the city of Encinitas and the San Diego Rescue Mission to reserve 12 shelter beds at its National City facility for unhoused people from Encinitas.

In a prepared statement to the Encinitas City Council, Rodriguez, following an apology for breaking what he said was an “unwritten rule” in appearing at an outside jurisdiction’s council meeting, said the city of Encinitas should not be shipping its unhoused residents 30 miles away to another city.
