I Looked For The Moon

I looked for the moon

But it was gone from the sky

So i searched for it in your eyes

The shimmering lakes of your beauty

An angel and a smile

The bright light of a soul

And in those eyes i found the moon

And she winked back to me

And she was beautiful

A poem dedicated to all women and even more to our Most Holy Mother, the Virgin Mary.
