Can anyone recognise this small area of Bengaluru? Photo taken maybe in 1960s? Also possible the street name had the word "Melrose" in it. Likely no longer there and has been redeveloped. Curious if anyone has knowledge of this.

Murder in 1965

So I found a bunch of old newspapers, documents, letters and a map dating all the way back to the 1960s. I found this news article about a murder and it seems back then they used to stuff the bodies in steel boxes, now they use trolley bags. The mindset of the criminals haven't changed, just the bag upgraded.

PS - I didn't know where to post this. Posted it here since it is the sub for old india

Rare Two cheetahs were officially reintroduced to the wild in Kuno National Park, India yesterday after their extirpation from the country in 1952. Here is a miniature painting of Maharaja Sher Singh of the Sikh Empire being presented with an Asiatic Cheetah back when they were around, circa 1840–1845
