The Owosso Farmers Market is dedicated to providing an inclusive gathering place for farmers, producers & makers to connect with the public while growing their business. We strive to promote a strong local economy, support our downtown businesses, and celebrate our diverse community – while strengthening a sustainable food system to make quality, nutritious foods more accessible.

Local Food Access & Community Programs

The Owosso Farmers Market is a proud member of the MFMA and TLD, with a goal to encourage, educate and promote local food access. We accept SNAP/EBT, P-EBT, and WIC that provides our community with locally grown produce at affordable prices. Additionally, Owosso Farmers Market has implemented Double Up Bucks – which doubles the value of EBT/P-EBT purchases up to $20 a day – making it easier than ever for everyone to purchase sustainable food, while helping boost our local economy. We are committed to providing convenient access to healthy food options in Shiawassee County.

The products sold at Owosso Farmers Market are grown, produced and made by our local vendors. Our vendors accept cash and card. We provide EBT + Double Up Food Bucks and WIC options for fresh and sustainable food.

We are now accepting 2026 Vendor Applications. Please apply to be considered.

The market is open every Saturday (May to October) from 9am to 1pm on Exchange St. Located directly in front of the Owosso Armory. 

Explore downtown on Saturday, October 24th, from 12 PM to 1 PM while trick or treating at participating businesses.

Look for golden pumpkins at 15 downtown businesses handing out candy!

Each pumpkin has a QR code on the bottom—scan it, enter your email, and you’ll be in the running for a chance to win a $200 prize package from Owosso Main Street.

Free fresh food including canned goods, produce, meats, and dairy available to those in need of groceries. We will bring food out to the parking lot for you!

Unfortunately, when people have experienced food insecurity, they sometimes go into crisis mode and there’s this fear that we may run out and they don’t know where their next meal comes from. Today we actually did run out. We had enough food for 225 households delivered. We were able to stretch it out to serve about 250 and still had to turn away 20 vehicles with nothing other than a little bit of produce we had left. We try our best to estimate the need but sometimes you’re either way over or way under.

This is what we are seeing now. Has, water, everything is out of reach for many residents.

I'm Alex Clark, I’m a dad flying in from the coast to perform stand-up in Owosso Oct 22nd. I'm really excited because I love smaller towns like yours (crowds are notoriously more fun). I wanted to invite you to a great night out where I make fun of myself for an hour :)

If you've never heard of me, here's what to expect: no politics, no mean crowd work, just lighthearted observational comedy about raising kids, how dumb I am, my son "roaring like a dinosaur" at my dad's funeral, and an unhealthy addiction to ice cream.

I’m not a mega celeb, but have a few credits—I’ve been featured on Netflix is a Joke and Don't Tell Comedy stages, I've performed everywhere from Australia to the Vegas strip. I'm a four-time "Best-Of-Fest" winner and Streamy nominee, and my last stand-up tour sold out in 23 cities.  Despite all my accomplishments, I have never owned property. 

I know these credits mean nothing to you because you've probably never heard of me... the thing is I've never heard of you either, but I'm hopeful Owosso will be one of my best shows of the year. I'd love for you to enjoy that with me.
