My location always gets me right

Yesterday, I went to Pizza Hut at Inorbit Mall in Vizag and ordered a regular pizza and garlic bread. Pretty straightforward, right?

Except when I got the bill, I noticed they'd added 4 ketchup sachets for ₹4 without even asking me if I wanted them.

Now, this isn't about ₹4. I can afford to pay ₹4 for ketchup. It's about the principle. Why should I pay for something I never asked for, especially when I don't even like having ketchup with my pizza?

When I questioned the staff, his response was that they add ketchup for everyone in general. Okay, but since when does “we do it for everyone” mean you can charge customers for something without their consent?

And here's the funny part: after charging me for 4 sachets, he initially gave me only 2. I had to point that out before he gave me the remaining ones.

So, apparently, I didn't get a choice about being charged for ketchup, but I still had to ask for the quantity I'd already paid for. 🤦‍♂️

Again, ₹4 isn't going to make a difference to my wallet. But if a restaurant is charging customers for an add-on, the least they can do is ask first. Not everyone wants ketchup with their pizza, and “we add it for everyone” shouldn't be an excuse.

Has anyone else experienced something similar at Pizza Hut or other restaurants in Vizag?

The worst experience ever at a pizza place. Did a mobile order for lunch. Got there to pick it up and they didn't ask a name or if I needed to order they just said it will be a few minutes. So I'm standing there while it looks like they're putting a truck away and my food sitting at the end of the oven for 15 minutes. Then she boxes the food and says is this you. I told them what I ordered and she brought it over. It was already paid but she still needed me to sign the receipt which took her 5 minutes to find a pin. Then gives me a dirty look when I put 0 tip. Some people shouldn't be shift managers. UPDATE I REACHED OUT AND THEY CAVE ME A CODE ANY LARGE PIZZA

I moved to Austin and was wondering if anyone knows a pizza hut that does buffets here? I keep getting sent to Double Dave's, and theyre alright, but not what I want. A bunch of the ones i see or visit are non-dine in, and a few have a table or two.

Tried to use the app just now and payment info wouldn't load.

Tried to use their website, payment wouldn't load.

DoorDash and Grub Hub wanted almost $10+

Called the store, it connected me to a non-local operator who... you guessed it, their payment info wouldn't load.

Tried Domino's. Their's loaded fine.

that’s it, that’s the rant. not blaming the customers, they don’t know we’re short handed

An old Pizza Hut coupon my Gran found in an old cooking book. I brung it into my local pizza hut to see if they'd still accept it, and they were not amused in the slightest.

What happened here???

My family has done a "Pizza Hut Friday" once a month for the past 18 or 19 years. Over the past three months I've noticed something different about the classic marinara sauce. It lacks the rich flavor. It's lighter, fruitier and tangy, almost like tomato juice instead of pizza sauce. We tried a different store tonight, and the sauce was so bad I had to throw away a Pizza Hut pizza for the first time in my life. If this a permanent change, we probably just had our last Pizza Hut Friday.

I never grew up on Pizza Hut, and coming into adulthood I always heard about the decline and downfall of Pizza Hut as a franchise.

After shopping around on Uber Eats (before switching to their app) I saw what they have to offer, with their 7$ Hut Box giving me a little pizza and 4 wings, thats incredible value these days, most places would charge 7$ just for the 4 wings. Not to mention I genuinely find it tasty asf. Whoever came up with it is a genius. Not to mention their Pick 2 deal is cheaper than dominoes now and is as much as papa johns.

I never thought I would order from Pizza Hut but now its my go to. I think this shows the beginning of some winds of change hitting the pizza industry. I know I sound like an ad lmao, but for a broke college kid this is a huge W.

So found this out tonight, placed a somewhat large order through the Pizza Hut app, and the dasher just contacted me saying they will get my order to me as quickly as possible, because he has a couple other orders to deliver first.

What the hell? I’ve delivered for Pizza Hut before, and yeah maybe 1 or 2 but they were all in a small 1-2 mile radius of the store, but knowing DoorDash has no radius…. I guess I’m complaining to the store when my food gets here cold.

alsoooo, lil trick i recently found. you know how Pizza Hut pizza usually gets dry and hard as hell after you reheat it? Thin Crust with extra sauce won’t do that!!
