About five minutes ago the game stopped generating any Pokemon and my route stopped working. Force closed and when I try to login now it just hangs.

Am I unlucky or is anyone else also having issues?

Slow app, spawns not occurring... slower, slower, slower... stopped. Can't login now. Fun event. Don't look up.

They do this meteor event. I can’t even log into the game. I literally can do anything on my phone except login to Pokemongo. Can’t catch or do anything. Won’t leave the login screen. Anybody else having this issue?

Can’t catch anything, game keeps saying network error…. Basically wasted a 2 hour incense…. I guess I’m happy I at least caught 1 Minior…..?

I blame the meteor showers for this luck pull.

Normally I would complain for PoGo feeding us this same costume in such a short period, but a shiny is a shiny!

The game going down as the research ended at Eastern time is very unfortunate... Hoping the Pikachu is still there to claim even though the research is over. If it's not, maybe they will give an extension or something since the game went down for everyone

Sorry guys i caused the crash... scopely knew i only had 1 hour left to claim my Marathon pikachu so they had to nuke the servers

The app finally let me in and now my reward encounter is no where to be seen.

I was at 30km yesterday morning. Went out and knocked down 10kn throughout the day while doing chores. I thought id easily get the last 2 done while at work the next day(today), then be able to claim my pika once I got home~7pm. Wasn't counting on a mandatory 1 hour break from the app on the last hour of the event. Did I not purchase enough PokeCoins to satiate our Scopeley overlords?

Now what? This was supposed to be my first ever Marathon pikachu. I haven't been this disappointed in a while. I really feel like a fool for trying so hard to get those last 12 km done with only for a big fat server crash to be my reward.

Seriously I dont think ill get exited over research events after this.

It’s as if Scopely wasn’t prepared for one of the most densely populated time zones in the world. Way to go!

I got these rewards from the little special event they gave us with rhw shooting stars and miniors. I have not been very patient with saving stardust so this big number is very big deal for me and I think it would be for anyone else as well.

I came back to the game after about 9 years or so and have been grinding LOT. Feels like Im rewarded for it.

Scopely needs to focus more on network connectivity issues than on in-game ways to drain your pokecoins.

So the game has been crashing for everyone- me included. I was out walking with my pups, and right as I was force closing the game, and sad cause I lost my daily incense, I look down, and thought “is that a pokemon??” Except this one was outside the phone screen. I guess this crash maybe means we will have much better augmented reality?? 😅😂 lol funny thing, this is not the first time this happens to me lol

Was just going on a walk around my neighborhood with my mom and briefly saw this, lo and behold it's a shiny Azelf. It ate through my ultras, gold berries and great balls but it was so worth it. 🤌
