Serious question, are Democrats in California running on "California is broken and only we Democrats can fix it"?

When it comes to affordability, yes.

Are you talking about state-level offices, or candidates running for federal office are talking about fixing national affordability issues?

Basic supply and demand, genius. The states that are more desirable to live in have a higher cost of living. People want to live in California. Not shithole red states.

That’s hilarious considering how many are escaping to red states

Good, maybe the shithole states will get cleaned up finally.

I’m afraid the correlation with their voting record and affordability may not have sunk in.

What? I'm in California and would like to know what's bad about it?

Is it the weed, beautiful weather, and benefits for the poor?

Cost of living.

But the difference is Ohio IS more Republicans than Democrats. Texas is more blue than red. It’s just been rigged here for so long (20+ years).

Idaho is the same. Nothing is ever the Republicans fault, ever.

Taft was a Republican. Ted Strickland (2007-2011) was the only Democratic nominee that Ohio has had in the governor's seat since 1991, and Republicans have held majority in the Ohio House and Senate since the 90s.

I'm sure the 4 years that Strickland was in office somehow destroyed the state and Republicans are surely making it better now! Still waiting for that.
