How the fuck can people walk around claiming to be Christians and they have made saying genocide is bad is now controversial.

"I don't think children should be killed" is controversial

From the very same people who claim terminating a fetus is legal murder and made it their pet cause for 50 years -- make it make sense?

As long as you're talking about the ISF anyway. When you mention that Hamas have also killed children it's suddenly different.

The idea that child-killers should burn in hell regardless of the hows and whys is indeed controversial.

The Right doesn't care about kids. Never did.

It's not different. The only thing that's different is the number of children killed. Any child killed is bad.

And you're strawmanning and you know it.

People support the Palestinian people and children, not Hamas. You know that but you're playing games and being silly

Not only the amount of children killed is different, also they way they are killed and what their bodies have to endure before and after death...

The word doesn’t mean ‘good person’. Millions of christians are the worst kind of human garbage, it doesn’t make them any less christian. The whole notion of ‘christian’ being a synonym of ‘good person’ is some PR bullshit peddled by scum who think the crusades were a good thing.

Bad people hide behind religion -- especially evangelical and modern U.S. Christians because they believe in that "sin all week, saved every Sunday" brand of hate-filled religion-as-a-cloak and status symbol.

The truly pious and righteous among us would never tell you. It's obvious when around a genuinely good person. They don't have to outwardly show anything or use symbols. Just being themselves and helping the society around them speaks volumes.

Good people who happen to be christian aren’t good because of their religious beliefs but in spite of them. Worshipping a genocidal sky tyrant will never be a good thing.

Well that's just..... dumb. If you live Jesus' teachings you are by definition a nice person. So if you say you are Christian and you are an asshole, you are not living Jesus' teachings. It is thay simple.

Teachings such as calling a woman a dog? Go and read the bloody book instead of regurgitating what you’ve been told about this character.

I didn't say it was perfect, that had more to do when gentiles and then women. But the story goes on to say that even dog eat scraps and that just a little of God's power is enough to heal her daughter. Not great but not the worst. The world would still be better if they lived Jesus' teachings instead of their selfish bullshit.

They believe Israel's necessary control of Jerusalem is their avenue to ascend to heaven in the afterlife -- just after they yell "Psyche!" at the Jews they plan to abandon at the last second and pull the ladder to heaven out of their grasp. I wish I was joking. That's literally the mentality of a religious right wing Christian in America.

Yep, they only need Jews to spawn Jesus lmao

To be fair, genocide is sort of the christian god's thing.

Lying about genocide is bad.
