Only because his girlfriend has it. If she didn't he wouldn't care.

Thats a common problem for rich people. If it doeSnt affect them they don't care. Glad he is researching it. But it's not for altruistic or empathic reasons.

“Trying to help solve a problem once that problem affects you” is a wild thing to complain about. It’s great he funded endo research even if it’s just cause of the dudes girlfriend had it. Endometriosis is a scary, under researched illness that’s almost killed some of my friends so any research is good news
