Yup. Ive been banned from a major news sub for saying that celebrating oct 7 is repulsive, from the feminism sub for saying that the woman who made a post about feeling guilty over being attracted to men and feeling like a bad feminist, should do what makes her happy and so on.

Like, i am not saying you shluldnt be banned for outright racist etc content. You should. But mods are using their power to silence any and every opinion they dont like

More than angry, they execute people.

Let's not forget the subreddits that auto-ban accounts based on what other subs they participate in. Then they'll ban you for blocking their tracking bots. Echo chamber indeed.

Yup. This place is one big echo chamber

Reddit mods are by and large horrendous people. I’m talking Epstein inner circle folks. And no - this isn’t a conspiracy theory! Ghislaine Maxwell literally moderated for politics subreddit.

Exactly.

Pressing that “ban” button makes them feel powerful and special.

Well in their defense you did come in with the atrociously flamin' hot take that uh... celebrating the murder of civilians is bad?

Ive been banned from a major news sub for saying that celebrating oct 7 is repulsive,

We were probably banned from the same sub. When the US pulled out of Afghanistan, there was a news article on female news reporters in Afghanistan being arrested or executed for showing their faces on TV and my comment was along the lines of how Women's rights are going to suffer in Afghanistan when the US pulled out. I was taught that the best thing about a conversation is having other people with different opinions that express it politely. On Reddit, that seems to not be the case with some of these moderator.

Free speech should never be banned. Unless it is actually causing harm to someone

Hell yeah

Reddit mods let people threaten to kill people all the time as long as it's coming from the hateful liberal satanic death cult, the only ones who do that stuff

satanic death cult

If this is a genuine fear of yours, I suggest abandoning your role models, they have failed you, and start talking to a therapist.

You just don't get it because you are a pawn of evil. Believers fear nothing. We already know that we win in the end. That's why liberals assassinate people who love peace and humanity and we accept everyone. Time for judgement will come and it's not going to be good for you. Only you can change that.

What's your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid?

And like clockwork, the anti humanity, anti free speech liberals who "moderate" this sub silence my truth.

u/Smoked_Eel_Lover Aug 18 '26

If you have to classify something as “your truth” you should really take some time and think things over. (Independent of your comment, which I cannot see because it was deleted)

Wow you have the opposite take.

I find the Trump conservatives are super quick to smack you down then ban you when you present facts.

I was a card carrying member of the Republican Party. They left me behind and the gap is only worse. IMHO. Thanks for caring.

I'm banned from multiple subs for supporting genocide or supporting terrorists for daring to speak of a certain conflict with any sort of nuance.

But being banned is better than what worldnews does, which is just delete comments that don't play the game they like there, which is enflaming conflicts instead of civil discussion.

I got banned from the national parks sub for politely disagreeing with someone that said that Smoky Mountain National Park was a top tier NP.

I got banned from world news for defending Palestine. Also got banned from movies and I don’t know why and nobody every replied when I asked
