4-day week worked, so they cancelled it

This happened at the plant i work at. We used to do 4 10 hour shifts. It was a coveted job. Then they called mandatory over time for 6 months to catch up on production. As they burned out too many people they cut us to 5 9 hour days a week. Turnover continues to sky rocket

They did the same at my plant. When I got hired it was Mon-Thu 7am-6pm (15 minute break and 45 minute lunch deducted from hours)

We now have 5 days 7am-5pm so everyone is forced to do overtime in addition to some mandatory weekends. They hire about 12 new temps a week.

Oh temps are lovely especially the drug addicts

Basically every manufacturing plant was working overtime when I worked in that industry
