I've experienced a life altering injury and this is how I get by day to day. I can't compare my life to my time prior injury, I have to compare my life when I was in horrendous pain and hospital bound.

Same. Chronic illness and disability from working as RN. It’s how we survive. And try to get decent medical insurance??!!

Compare yourself to yourself 1 day ago. Simple as that. Are you better off than yesterday? Well awesome , are you worse than yesterday , no worries, tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity to be better than today.
