Fluff Player Accuses Indie Game of Using AI Voice Acting

Post image

A player criticized the voice acting of one of the heroines in the indie game Luminary, assuming that the voice had been generated by AI.

The developer jumped into the review to explain that the voice actually belongs to his wife, who was trying her hand at voice acting for the first time.

  • Steam refund window is 2 hours
  • Your game shouldn't need more than 2 hours to become good
  • Key problems with a game can usually be identified within 10 minutes
  • Indy games are often short, some may only be 30 minutes of actual gameplay

I feel like 10 minutes is a bit extreme depending on the game I guess, but story games 10 minutes is insane.
