This is so embarassing, but i made a bass (or found idk) about 6 months ago and since working on the song i can not figure out what i used or what preset it might be. I think i have gone through every preset of every plugin i have and cant quite get the same texture and tone. Could someone please lend a hand in possibly helping me recreate it or give some advice? I know its not that complicated but it just fit the tune better then anything ive found..

Some notes.. Im in fl studio, it very well could be a bass guitar but that top texture sounds like it may be something else. I also own nexus, serum and vital but not thinking its either of those...

Sorry for the challenge hehe

https://youtu.be/Uf24Uk6ZMLQ?si=_ppFwFTPHBYy5hHg Starts around 3:15, but really ramps up around 4:05, wanna know how I can recreate it, what synth I should look for or use. Thanks so much!

Hey, anyone know which synth / patch comes in at 0:08? That shimmery arpeggiated thing. Appreciate any help in identifying this sound.

Anyone able to cook this one up? Ive gotten somewhat close to the midrange part and above in serum but not the beefiness.

I’m a beginner to synths so bear with me. This is the song that made me want to get into sound design!

I'm trying to identify a very specific sound in the instrumental version of Jeene Laga Hoon from Ramaiya Vastavaiya.

There's a short melodic phrase played on what sounds like a synth before the piano notes begin.

I'm not looking for the song name or the piano melody. I'm trying to find out what that exact synth sound is and whether it's a particular synthesizer preset, a sample, or a custom sound used in the original production.

Does anyone recognize the sound or know how I could identify it?

Any help would be appreciated

Please help, what are the synths in this song? Tell me by CH@NC3

Theres that first really cool synth that happens at 5 seconds in, its really melodic, thats the main one I really wanna know, The other ones the bass which seems simpler, but I want love to know that one too.I love the sound so much and ive been searching everywhere, lmk if you can figure it out and thank you! https://youtu.be/EFBPqQ7VLKc 5 seconds in

I use serum 2 and I don't understand how to make such a huge sound and mix it.

Sometimes I try to use 2 layers of bass but sometimes I listen tracks and hear third sub layer. So guys please try to explain how to mix this 2 or 3 layers of bass. How you control stereo side of bass and another important staff.

Sry for my english...

nuit folle - La Elite

I'm having trouble understanding the main lead. Maybe it's a bunch of layers or a single sawave with lots of voices, but I can't really tell.

First off WHY do they sound so good.
The specific bass i’m looking for is the FM-ey sin at 0:35 and 0:43.

What is going on here to make it sound so big/full when it seems like a relatively simple sound on the face of it. Also what is changing between the two instances that makes it sound different.

Could someone help me recreate the synth that starts playing around 0:11 of Soda stereo unplugged version of 'Cuando pase el temblor'? to me it sounds like a mouth harp or something like that. im not sure if the player holds the key down using an arpeggiator or if he plays all the notes. Any advice?

I've recently fallen back in love with this Orb tune from the late nineties and am pondering what they used for that squiggly little ARP line and how I could set about making something similar myself...

The lead

This subreddit was recommended by someone from r/musicians. Need help replicating the synths and pad sounds on my keyboard (Yamaha PSR SX 720). I don't want it to be plugged into my laptop as a Midi Source. Just want raw voices from the keyboard itself if anyone knows about it. Thanks.

Trying to figure out how to recreate the pluck sound at 0:31, just before the drop. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

We recreated the Bass sound from 'Chlorine' by Twenty One Pilots on our free Synth Primer.

This remake is specifically recreating the patch heard at this timestamp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlEvTozqAWk&start=40 . Other parts of the song may vary the sound or notes.

And here are the key ingredients:

Voices: Mono
Osc1: Wave (Saw), Vol (100%)
Unison: Osc (All), Voice Count (4), Detune Range (5 Cents), Stereo Spread (100%)

Amp Env: Attack (230ms), Decay (5750ms), Sustain (0%), Release (20ms)

Filter: Type (Low Pass), Cutoff (70%), Key Tracking (50%)

Reverb: Mix (20%), Size (Medium)

Find the full recipe and download the presets: https://www.syntorial.com/preset-recipe/twenty-one-pilots-chlorine-bass/?

theres also another bass at 1:08 :3

I've always been so curious about how they got that sound leading up to the chorus. It sounds so bright and deep. I'd love to hear what yall think. I'm using serum

the super crunchy and subby bass sounds songs like these (near 0:30)

Resonance still feels like the soundtrack to a half-remembered dream, so we recreated the whole thing in Serum. Every sound is broken down step by step. Happy to answer questions in the comments!

Ok, so this is a great example I picked off of youtube; But I would love to sound just like this! According to other posts I've seen- he's known for using a Microkorg and I wanted to see if there was anyway I could recreate such a sound in Fl Studio using Serum??
