Hated Tropes (Hated Meta Trope) Plot Holes that are not Plot Holes. There is an explanation if you bother to watch the movie

"Plot Hole": Why didn't Thanos just make the universe bigger to end overpopulation!

Explanation: Thanos wants to kill half the population to end overpopulation right? If he created more resources, the universe would just become overpopulated all over again. He explains this in his villain monolog. There are parts of his plan that make no sense (he's called the Mad Titan for a reason), but this one is actually explained. His plan was also to punish people for their greed, and making more food would not be much of a punishment. He also has a savior complex which makes him double down on his plan to prove he's right

"Plot Hole": Why wasn't the Death Star's exhaust port fortified!

Explanation: It fucking WAS. They had laser cannons surrounding the port because the Empire knew it was a weak point. The imperial general saw the rebels and chose to do nothing about it. He says "I think you overestimate their chances". Luke needed help from Han Solo, the disembodied voice of Ben and the Force in order to get the torpedoes into that tiny hole. Han even says that the shot was "one in a million".

Cinema Sins has trained a generation of movie watchers that plot holes are things in movies that aren't explicitly spelled out directly into the camera.

E.g. A character (who is clearly seen with a car) doesn't directly look into the camera and says "I will now drive my car to the store". they'll complain we never knew how he got to the store and that's a plot hole.

I used to love that channel until they started padding every review with nonsense so it hit 3 digit "sins" every time.

Probably haven't watched in a decade now.

Cinemawins is so much more enjoyable now. It’s just more fun to enjoy things.

My joke is that Wins is mad4 by someone who actually understood the movie and bothered to watch it more than once

I always assumed that it was the same guy, like a "okay but actually I do love movies so let's show how cool this one is" but found out like a few months ago it's not?

Also creepy jokes like with the early Harry Potter movies “Hermione isn’t old enough to be hot yet” ding

Why say that?

I remember seeing a clip from a talk show when Daniel Radcliff was in the play were he has a nude scene. The host was trying to guilt trip him and made a comment about how Harry Potter is a beloved children's character and doesn't he think the sexual association is inappropriate. Radcliff responded by saying nobody seemed to have a problem with sexualizing Emma Watson

Yes absolutely. When the videos were more about literal errors and things that genuinely didn’t make sense.

The videos were all in like 3-5 minutes.

Then it was padded with so much stupidity to make them 10-20 minutes. You could literally make an “Everything wrong with in under 3 mins” video about his videos now.

It’s a shame. Pitch meeting is the much better channel now.

Watching that instead is easy, barely an inconvenience.

Meh, I still think they're fun to watch. Dumb, sure, but I enjoy them anyway. Some people have reality TV, I have CinemaSins, lol
