Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) Endings so awful they completely destroy the legacy of the media.

  1. Two and a Half Men's final episode teased Charlie Sheen's character coming back and going to harm the other characters whilst also having insults to his character and Charlie Sheen himself. It's clear the director had a grudge and the ending where his character comes up to knock then get crushed by a piano before it cuts to the director before he says "winning" before getting crushed by another piano
  2. This was an upbeat animated show about a magical teen princess. The writers desperately wanted a romantic endgame for her and her best friend, but the way they got there was essentially multiversal omnicide. To stop a villain, the main character unilaterally decides magic is the root of all evil and destroys it entirely. By doing this, she casually commits mass genocide against every purely magical being in the multiverse. It also triggers a massive apocalyptic event that violently crashes different dimensions together into a chaotic hellscape. But the show frames this horrific, mass-extinction catastrophe as a sweet, triumphant ending just because two teenagers get to hold hands in the rubble (Star Vs The Forces Of Evil)

The 100. The showwriters killed off one of the main characters is an idiotic useless way out of spite. And the themes the ending tries go completely against the themes of the rest of the show.

The 100 show writers HATED the fans and it was so evident with that last season.

I headcanon the end of season 5 to be the ending of this one. It was a good ending.

The way season 5 ended was perfect. S6 started off good but quickly went into "reboot mode" just rehashing old plots and ruining character development.

That show in my opinion has the wildest change in storyline of any show ever to the point where when I just decided I was bored of the series going to read about how it ended I have multiple times had to check to see if I was even on the right now and had to confirm that it wasn't some satire website or like a discontinued storyline that they abandoned for being stupid.

I love that show simply because its absolutely ridiculous

it jumped sharks like that was the whole god damned assignment! lol

I loved it. Every season was just more wildly off book than the last. Everything was an absolutely crazy, world ending, apocalypse level disaster, that always made exactly zero scientific or logical sense!

If you think the final season was bad, try reading the first book.

That show changed themes like 4 times through the seasons

They kept to the main theme of showing what humanity will do to survive and it’s consequences. Until the final season.
