In the OG series he suffered much worse falls, hits, and attacks, yet one punch from prime can seemingly break him beyond repair? ik ik movie for 8 year olds, speeding up plot, ect. but seriously, he should have just walked off when he landed like always. also, what is flying out of him? bones? metal? idk.

I made this super quick digibash to see what an Origins Cliffjumper might look like. Any thoughts?

the opening to 2007 movie remains so atmospheric and eerie, mainly because the audience knows this is a transformer, but the characters do not. no faction symbols are shown on his chassis, and as clues begin to pour in you are left to wonder. while blackout has an iconic silhouette due to his appearance in 07, he was a very obscured character prior to the movie that never had a helicopter alt-mode.

i was very young when this movie premiered so it actually surprised me when he revealed himself and destroyed the soccent base. that said, i wonder who i could’ve thought this was with the knowledge i have now. any older or more versed fans at the time want to share their first thoughts?

i’ll go first: in a vacuum, if i watched this for the first time now, i might have thought this was sandstorm, as they use the same model of helicopter. he follows the directions peacefully up until he begins obliterating the base, which is actually odd behavior for any decepticon. once he got to wrecking the base, then i would’ve guessed vortex.

Maybe that can do him in one of the generations lines where they could maybe spruce him up a little bit, make him look ancient like the 13 primes? Like a biblically accurate Rodimus Prime lol

I had one of these legends Cyberton Jetfires as a kid and it went EVERYWHERE I did. Super glad I was able to find one again, and I've even seen a couple of the leader class toy pop on Facebook for like $60 with no key or blasters. Definitely gonna get that as my next purchase I think.

I was never interested in buying Masterpiece. I was content buying mainline figures, and I told myself I have no reason to get any MP figures including MPM despite my love for the live action films.

Fast forward to November 2020 when Ross had Ironhide and Megatron for $25 and $45 respectively, and Target had just received Ratchet plus a 25% off coupon PLUS the 5% off Red Card. WELP. I GUESS I’M DOING THIS!

In 2022, I bought Optimus through a mutual on Twitter (decent price) and Blackout at Target (no coupons, full price 😭).

In 2023, I bought Starscream and Barricade on FB Marketplace (fairly cheap especially Screamer) and Bonecrusher at Target (with some holiday deals).

In 2024, I bought Brawl at Target (with some holiday deals).

And finally this year of 2026, I bought Bee on ebay (decent auction win) and Jazz on Reddit (freaking $90 for him which is a STEAL compared to ebay prices).

One day, I’ll get my hands on that DNA Design Frenzy targetmaster, but for now I’m content with where I’m at. A fitting end to my MPM journey………until they do more DOTM designs. Frick.

Transformers sequels have a track record of following up a classic with mindless action (ROTF, Rise of the Beasts, RID 2015, etc.), and my fear is that the inevitable sequel to ONE might do the same. So other than explosions, fight scenes, and Iacon bickering about who is right; Optimus or Megatron, what SPECIFIC STORYLINE would you want to see in the film? Honestly, just fight scenes and conflict wouldn't make a good follow up to the emotional masterpiece ONE was.

And is this Devstator worth it cuz god the price of 86 devestator. And hasbro pulse has every single 86 construction out of stock. Since February 2026 somehow.

The random bumblebee image was my first transformer and I can't believe it's not even more expensive.

Ss86 shockwave I need immediately for Christmas but if I have to go 86 route, I was thinking a dinobot and construction, or two constructicons or two dinobots, but I need my 3v1 3 autobot 1 decepticon war to even out.

I mean Bonecrusher (except for 1 in stock) and Mixmaster are decent prices. But I won't have legs except for Mixmaster. $47 for g2 grimlock is fine, as I soon discovered compared to the $90. And Snarl is a decent price as well, probably new.

I know Transformers is expensive, but some or thr prices like in months Soundwave being $50 pre-order, and now $80 is ridiculous. Do you aall think I should count on it for decepticons dramatic capture parts 1 and 2 is in stock by December? Or is it that one scene from toy story 1?​ sure part 2 comes with the insecticons, skywarp (I kid you not I spent 40 minutes blanking on his name and i didnt type until i remebered) plus ​reflector, shockwave, Soundwave, magatron kinda, which is why I would prefer that over reflector, kazeek, and thundercracker, but idk.

Gonna try to figure something out. The jazz and optimus cereal box set i might jump on for a g1 80s mold of both just extra joints and for the fact of my laughing at it the first time i saw it. ​​kinda pissed the new 86 starscream is only at target, the new 86 optimus is out of stock. The new 86 megatron is in stock but I might not consider it if it ends up being out of stock.

Retro g1 wheelie and outback humbled me when I said hasbro didn't make reissues of old figures anymore. $27 each maybe I'd get them, idk.

Another route I am considering is seeing if maybe I could just get a ebay lot of 80s transformers toys. Maybe. Depends.
