Visual Report Sometimes I forget Betty and Luna actually like each other.

Most of the time you’d think these two can’t stand each other. They steal each other’s spots, race each other to food, and have staring contests like they’re settling something ancient.

But every so often they just… stop.
I walked into the living room earlier and found Luna asleep on the sofa with Betty curled right up against her. No pushing, no drama, no fighting for space. Just both of them completely knocked out like nothing ever happened.

The weird part is if they notice I’ve seen it, one of them immediately gets up and leaves like they’ve been caught doing something they shouldn’t be doing.

It honestly feels like they act like enemies all day, then secretly switch sides the second I’m not looking.

Anyone else’s cats like this? Acting like they hate each other 90% of the time and then randomly turning into best friends like nothing happened?

Visual Report It’s after midnight. The cats have decided the hallway is lava.

I got up to get water. Simple task. I open my door. Luna is sitting dead centre of the hallway, staring at the floor like it just insulted her ancestors. Betty is on top of the shoe rack, tail twitching, eyes locked on… nothing. Or something. I’m not sure which is worse.

I take one step into the hallway. Betty makes a noise I’ve only ever heard from a kettle. Luna doesn’t move. But somehow looks more disappointed.

I retreat. I drink tap water. From the bathroom sink. Like a guest in my own house.

5 minutes later, I peek out again. They’re both gone. A slipper is in the middle of the floor. It wasn’t there before.

I don’t know what I interrupted. But I’m 90% sure it had rules. And I just lost.

Anyone else’s cats randomly decide an area is cursed and act like you’re the idiot for stepping into it? Drop your weirdest hallway incidents below.

Visual Report I think this might be it.

Betty’s been following me around all day. Not in a cute way. In a “you’ve got 24 hours left” kind of way.

Every room I go in, she’s already there. She doesn’t blink. She doesn’t meow. She just watches.

I tried to offer her a treat. She didn’t even sniff it. She looked at it like I just insulted her ancestors. Then knocked it off the counter and walked out the room sideways.

Luna hasn’t helped. She’s been sitting in the hallway staring at the exact same patch of wall for three hours. I checked nothing there. She didn’t move when I waved my hand. She just tightened her eyes slightly, like I was interrupting something.

I don’t know what’s going on. But I’ve started saying goodbye to objects just in case. I just whispered “thank you” to the kettle. And I’ve locked the bathroom. Not sure why. It just felt… safer.

If I post again tomorrow, assume I made it through the night. If not tell the mug it was loved.
