That's so cool honestly, just need a fake hoverboard.

Or even a real hoverboard lol

What the fuck are we even doing?

It's 2026 and we still haven't $99 hover boards for everyone.

I blame our stupid politicians. Fucking donkeys!

We gave up on real hoverboards and ended up calling some weird electronic sideways skateboard thing one instead.

It's crazy that we just settled with calling something that couldn't be further from a hoverboard, a hoverboard

At least the sound of those things is somewhat "hover boardy" / futuristic...

Damn, remember when a bunch of people had those. People in offices zooming around.

Glad that fad died off.

There was a viral video of 3 very young toddler aged siblings who had mastered them, and they were doing laps around the house while poor dad tried to relax in his recliner. Giving them to toddlers, who learn sooo quickly, was a huge mistake lol.

Are you sure according to Back to the Future they came out before 2015.

Different timeline, my friend.

We both took the wrong turn.

Correct, we ended up in the one where Biff ends up corruptly running the town with his Biffco empire

u/bonobomaster 10d ago

Sadly, this feels way too accurate.

Biff is President. Your country really took the wrong trousers leg of time.

This costume is absolutely brilliant though.

There's been a few attempts. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs_QOx_X5TE&t=75s

It should be anti gravity o'clock already! :D

Magnetic surfaces are so 2015... but yeah, interesting to see.

That clip funnily enough is 11 years old.

For your consideration

I considered your consideration and I consider it excellent! :D

Instant save for the playlist!

There is this, although it's not for everyone and it's more cumbersome, still interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UXL6oPP8sA

Just make sure that it's not full of eels.

u/Bardfinn 11d ago

Well, my hoverboard is full of eels
The DeLorean has lost its wheels
and a thunderstorm tonight might do the trick

Just wait 'til this car hits the limit
we'll split all space-time in a minute
All with some help from my pal, Uncle Rick

... what?

u/mckickass 11d ago

My nipples explode with delight!

1

u/realbasilisk 10d ago

That'll be six shillings please.

1

u/International_Gate49 10d ago

that would be a riverboard

1

u/Hootnany 10d ago

There are these drones that follow you around why not a small board ? Nah who am I kidding

1

u/JennyDoveMusic 10d ago

If we didn't have bigotry, we'd probably have hoverboards by now. 😔

29

u/brook1yn 11d ago

That would only work in part 2 and 3. For the first and best one he needs to convert a horse buggy into a skateboard.

I don't recall a ren fair (or the suggested time period) in any of the movies so you can really do anything you want here, because dude is forging his own narrative live
