Looking for a free place to work remotely in Yerevan (Arabkir area)
Hey everyone! I'm staying in Yerevan for the next 2 months near Arabkir neighborhood, and I'm looking for a free place within walking distance where I can work remotely on my laptop Monday–Friday, around 9 AM–5 PM.
Ideally, somewhere with free Wi-Fi, tables, chairs, power outlets, and where it's okay to stay and work for several hours.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

My landlord just texted me that my rent is going to go from 160k to 190k starting next month.
So my landlord just nonchalantly texted me, letting me know my rent is going from 160,000 AMD to 190,000 AMD starting next month.
I get supply and demand logic; I really do. But at this rate, no expats, remote workers, students, or diasporans are going to be willing to relocate to Armenia and keep paying Western European capital rent (and sometimes for a Soviet-era shoebox with a leaking roof). People are just going to go elsewhere (well, except Russians, since they don't have many other options right now).
Just a rage-bait post.

Private Taxi from Tbilisi to Yerevan
Hi all,
We are a family of three (two adults and a toddler) flying into Tbilisi and out of Yerevan. On Sun 25 Oct we would like to do a private transfer from Tbilisi to Yerevan. With a little one, we’d rather have the comfort of a private car than a marshrutka.
We’d like to stop at a few places along the way, ideally:
- Haghartsin Monastery / Dilijan
- Lake Sevan (Sevanavank)
- possibly Haghpat or Sanahin if time allows
We’re planning to take the western route (Alaverdi/Vanadzor, then Dilijan, then Sevan) rather than the roads close to the Azerbaijan border.
A few questions:
- Can anyone recommend reputable transfer companies or drivers who do this route, ideally with a child seat and a driver who speaks some English?
- Is gotrip.ge reliable? I’ve found decent Trustpilot reviews but only a small number of them. Has anyone here used them?
- What’s a fair price for a private car with stops? We’ve been quoted around $220 so far.
- Any tips on the Bagratashen/Sadakhlo border crossing, such as timing or documents?
Thanks in advance. We’re really looking forward to visiting both countries!

job opportunities for a Turkish-English speaker in Yerevan
Bari yereko!
I am a Turkish national who used to live and work in Tbilisi back in 2022. I worked as a bilingual Turkish-English Customer Support Agent back in Georgia.
Unfortunately, family comes first, so I had to make the difficult decision to return to Turkey. Fast forward four years, and I’ve officially had enough of both my family and the political/economic situation here. I am desperately seeking a way out and want nothing more than to return to the Caucasian (maybe Armenian) ecosystem.
How is the job market looking right now for someone with a year of solid CS experience who is fluent in both English and Turkish? Are Turkish-speaking roles still in high demand in Yerevan?
Will BPO companies or international agencies go through the hassle of sponsoring a work permit for an expat worker under these new regulations?
Are there any alternative pathways or advice you could share on how I can legally make my way back into Armenia?
Shnorakalutyun in advance for any insights or leads! Hope to see you guys soon.

Ban fuel cars in the city, especially in the center!
I'm tired of holding my breath while walking the sidewalks and crossing the road.

Looking for an apartment to rent in Yerevan
Hi everyone! I’m looking for an apartment to rent in Yerevan with a budget of 150,000–170,000 AMD per month.
I need to find a place as soon as possible, so if anyone knows a landlord renting within this budget, has a place available, I’d really appreciate the help.
I’m open to different areas as long as they’re reasonably accessible by public transport.
Please comment or send me a private message if you have any leads. Thank you so much!

This is by far the best in Yerevan - I tried all e-scooters
I tried all of them in the past 10 months, and these Blue ones from jet (Ninebot L) are the best one if you ever wanted to try one.
The rest aren’t as good when it comes to controlling and handling.

There are people in Yerevan who are interested in esotericism and secret teachings.
If so, I would like to get to know you and exchange knowledge.

Book tours online or at some local agencies?
Booking tours in Yerevan – online or in person?
Hi everyone!
I’m travelling to Yerevan with my parents soon, and I’m wondering what the best way to book tours is. We’re interested in visiting places like Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Garni and Geghard Monastery, and possibly Khor Virap as well. We’d also love to do a food tour around Yerevan itself.
My question is: Is it best to book these tours online in advance, or are there small local travel agencies and tour shops in Yerevan where you can book tours in person?
Thanks in advance!

Quick 4-min survey on Healthcare Services Quality in Armenia 🏥🇦🇲
Hi everyone,
As a polyclinic director working in Armenia, I am conducting a brief, completely anonymous market research survey to better understand patient experiences, quality perceptions, and service standards across medical centers, hospitals, and polyclinics in Armenia.🏥
My goal is to identify real patient pain points and see where improvements are needed most (such as wait times, equipment, customer service, or digital booking) to help elevate healthcare service quality.
Whether you live in Yerevan or any of the 10 regions, your honest feedback is extremely valuable.
Time required: ~4 minutes
Link to Survey: https://forms.gle/TAG3oXzR5CSmor2j9
All responses are completely anonymous and will be used solely for research and quality assessment. Thank you so much for your time and help!
Shnorhakalutyun😊
