Political Question Are Republicans inherently selfish?

Not referring to every individual obviously but as a whole, compared to democrats/independents they seem to really only care about themselves or their immediate family and pretty much have a “f**k em” attitude towards literally everyone else. Does anyone else feel this way?

This would explain why so many are against social policies but have no issue dumping much more money into the military instead, for example.

Yes. They are sadistic and self-serving.

Sadistic didn’t used to be so obvious…but recently, I’d agree.

They oppose free school lunch for hungry children to punish them for being poor. It's absolutely sadism at this point.

How can one be sadistic to a statistical abstraction?

That’s the easiest way to be sadistic. You never have to confront your sadism.
