Political Question Are Republicans inherently selfish?

Not referring to every individual obviously but as a whole, compared to democrats/independents they seem to really only care about themselves or their immediate family and pretty much have a “f**k em” attitude towards literally everyone else. Does anyone else feel this way?

This would explain why so many are against social policies but have no issue dumping much more money into the military instead, for example.

They usually are, it’s why he wouldn’t answer the question of how he grew up. The successful people who’ve been through things in life end up a liberal of some sort because they understand “Damn, I got lucky, there were 1,000 things that could’ve gone wrong but thank God I made it”. People like this think it is inherent to their being.

I already stated middle class, but you'd prefer to find any excuse to belittle the work I've done to get to get to where I am. This is a loser mentality.

No one is belittling the work you’ve done! They’re saying “Good for you, it doesn’t always work out for everyone. Society shouldn’t be geared around the assumption that everyone can achieve what you have”. That’s it, no one is trying to put you down based on your accomplishments.

You come off like a rich kid whose dad owns the car dealership who gets mad that he has to pay taxes to help the janitor afford food stamps. That’s how you’re coming off in your comments.

….That’s exactly what the kid who owns the dealership would say. No one is mad about your success, they’re mad about your attitude towards your fellow man.

I’d maximize contributions to my IRA were I you, you’re going to need it.
