I might have gone a little overboard haha
I never thought I'd like Dune this much, just wow. When I'm done I'm definitely checking out the movies too. Really looking forward to finally reading Elric :D

Todays book haul! Now sat waiting for the much better half to finish clothes shopping! 📖 📕
Grace Curtis - Heavens Graveyard (not entirely sold in it but The Floating Hotel by her was one of my favorite books of last year)
I Deliver Parcels in Beijing - Hu Anyan (I saw it and added it to my Want To Read a year or so ago but it was seriously expensive for some reason) little bit more reasonable paper with buy one get one deal.
To which I added Craft Land - James Fox (about crafts people in the UK is believe and being a carpenter in the UK it tickled my fancy)
Currently reading: The Magicians - Lev Grossman
Current amount of books read this year = 13

Latest haul
Some interesting history items plus a couple of travel/personal memoirs.
I’ve been watching Prof. David Olusoga’s moving new tv programme about the slave trade and was interested to learn more on this subject so the Hugh Thomas book seemed timely.

Surprise Haul!
My partner surprised me with a trip to a second hand shop!!! I was very excited to find some Steven king I’ve been looking for and a good amount of romance books I’ve had on my TBR or wanted to own after reading.

Another $20 well spent
Sometimes I go out and wish I find one of these authors, but to pull De Beauvoir, Sartre, Kafka, and Camus in a single afternoon filled me with joy I can only really express here.

Small book haul!!!
I asked one of the AI apps to recommend me books kinda like the Lord of the rings and it recommended me red rising and other series, I don’t know much about it but apparently it’s very popular? They didn’t have the second book and the sixth book was out of stock. The Count and the Odyssey have been on my wish list for a while so it feels good to have them now.
