Shelfie Just got done reorganizing the collection once again. Made room for some books I have coming.. Still, going to be forced to move some stuff into another room in the near future though.

Man DC really don’t “get” tradedress like Marvel and collections like this show it so clearly.

Man, if I made like 4 times as much money as I do, I’d have that too.

Thanks, a lot of people don’t like mixing on the shelves, but I’d rather just have a big run together.

A mix of Kallax and better homes and gardens Cube organizers, and the big books like the Absolutes are on a muscle rack.

Wasn't your collection featured on that one gem mint video?

I have no idea to be honest. I did submit picks a while back. I’ll have to check it out.

Damn, that's a library if I've ever seen it. Have you read most of it?

u/rob3880 Nov 09 '20
I’ve read the majority of the older material over the years. It’s mainly newer stuff that I need to get caught up on.

I'm always curious for people with massive collections to see if their buying overlapped with their reading. I figured you had taken care of older material. It's hard to get to everything

I used to have a massive collection of singles built up over 30 years or so that I sold off and replaced with omni’s and such over the last 3 and a half years.

Not bad at all. I have my Marvel Omnibus editions spread out through 3 Ikea Billy shelves but I think they would be better suited for a 5x5 Kallax due to their weight just like you are doing.

u/rob3880 Nov 09 '20
Yeah, I used to have a billy and the sagging made me really nervous. The Kallax are rock solid though.

Are you the Kallax for my DC stuff and it's absolutely fine. The problem aside from moving 80 Marvel Omnibus Editions to a new shelf is the fact that those $200 could be spent on more hardcovers instead.

Truly amazing! The best collection I’ve seen on here. I hope to collect a 10th of what you have and I’ll consider myself lucky. You sir have lived a full life lol
