Yeah, I’m an ER nurse and see way too many people a day to possibly remember everyone’s names. So pretty much all my patients, no matter their gender, gets “My Dear”. Unless they’re being assholes. Then they get “Sir/Ma’am”.
3 u/Square-Singer Aug 28 '26 In Austrian German we have "Mein Allerwertester"/"Meine Allerwerteste" for it, which simultaneously means "my dearest" and "my ass".
