Do they really? I thought it was (some) Americans who have severely softened the “punch nazis” stance

Edit - thanks for reminding me of AfD, sucks the proliferation of alt right and that nowhere seems all that resistant to it

I don't think it's a change in direction, I think it's Stockholm Syndrome bubbling up in former DDR children, they grew up with authoritarian rule and now they miss it.

Maybe they never changed in reality, just showed a face they hid

What are you talking about are you drunk or on drugs? Oh yeah I forgot we should only vote for left because it's the best right?maybe in your sick mind. Smh just like recently yesterday in Berlin. You'll see what they'll get out of it. The people vote for parties they want to vote for and people in Germany have had enough of it of to much left wing politics.

Blue snowflakes are more common than you’d think.

Nah Germany is starting to fall back too sadly. The very far right party "AfD" is gaining more and more votes every month in polls, and many of their members are Nazis.

They won a state election very recently and their candidate for that election shortly after said in an interview, that they would need/use 'military equipment" for their planed 'remigration' (throwing millions of Immigrants out of Germany, even people with citizen ship).

I am not a German, but I even have them at home. Most people here do. They are kinda useful in household or in general to have around.

For the context, pls do not attempt to translate "sharp knife" into Latvian.
