At the end of the day, no people were named so no reputational damage actually occurred.
I can see why the original comic angered people since it was in bad taste, but in the grand scheme of things I don’t see how it caused any real harm to anyone.
Perhaps if the boyfriend saw the original comic and had his feelings hurt, but since it’s so nondescript I’m not sure how he even would in the first place.
These things happen - everyone makes mistakes from time to time. We shouldn’t be too harsh about this sort of thing.
I’m not sure I would agree that the first comic was in bad taste. I think it was honest, and honestly ugly. I can admire it for that alone. I found it unpleasant to read, but I appreciate it as being of substance and value
Yeah, I saw in her last comic the exact relationship dynamic I once had more than once. I became a lot happier once I learned that if you find yourself in this dynamic it's better to just walk away than try to fix it, because fixing it when somone believes you incapable of true autonomy is impossible. It's like fucking up a first impression, then scrambling to fix it instead of just walking away.
Idk who needs to hear this but; if your partner doesn't respect you, you'll never be compatible.
