Also interesting is that unless you have a 7000sq/ft home filled with water features and white noise machines… the dog will hear someone open a door regardless of where they sleep.
If someone is actually forcing the door I’m not even sure the 7k sq/ft of fountains and fans will hide the noise from a dog with average hearing.
IIRC guy was trying to break in by using a power drill too. I’m guessing he was it to drill out the lock which I’m sure was noisy AF. Granted, our beagle was older, and sleeping upstairs with my mom and the door shut. That’s probably why she didn’t hear it.
