For us, it's rare. There are a couple things in *City of Heroes* that are very DID coded to the point that I would be side-eyeing the writing dev team for example. Usually there just isn't much of a match though.

Oh that’s so cool! I was much younger when that game came out, and didn’t have a pc to play it on, so I missed the boat I’m afraid lol.

To share my hand, ‘Psychology in Media’ is both a passion n relevant to my profession. So, I love learning from other peoples’ more authentic perspectives who have lived it themselves 😁

It's free to play on Homecoming, because of hijinks when the game was shut down.

Three things that come to mind - and there are more - include:

- The Shadow Shard. An ultravillain came to eat the universe and was imprisoned in a pocket dimension, where he split into a bunch of different aspects of himself. One of them is very nice and helpful to you. Another one rampaged and shattered the pocket universe to prevent them from reforming. So there's a whole dimension that's basically ruled by alters of one villain.

- Seers. These were women with psychic talent who were put under the care of a deeply narcissistic and abusive psychic. At one point (source: First Ward) you learn that they have had the parts the abuser found inconvenient ripped out and thrown into the swamps near the facility to angrily prowl and cause trouble.

- Kheldians. Two entire classes built around aliens that do a partial mind merge with people and so there are two classes where the RP is that they are a system of two plus memories of previous mergers.

Don't forget the Carnival of Shadows, where the archvillian has her 300 year old psychic ancestor in her brain.
