Old guy flashback pic from 2009. Sitting at the bar in the Three Floyd’s taproom back when they actively used their building to serve awesome food and pour beers. I still miss it.

I mean, maybe?

The magic of Amarillo hops. Wishing I bought more than one.

Wonderful beer, great drinkability.

Imperial IPA. 8.3% ABV. Citrusy and just a little dank at the back end. Balanced and delicious. Man Other Half makes a good beer.

The place always hits the spot. Quite a bit of a drive. Worth it

Cracked open a bottle with friends and was absolutely impressed with flavors and head retention. Molasses forward with hints of raisin/plum, and mild vanilla from the barrel again

Amazing beer

First chilly day of the season.

Always a great day when you find your favorite beer back on shelves.

If you’re in the Chicago area. Free. Some great beers (see link in comments).

Mosr recent thread asking opinions on shipping sours (Albeit from the USA).

This should be ~$50-$60. Carfagna's is Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately, I've already had this version (2025), and I already have the 2026 version coming in the Perennial membership box.

Got blessed with love from the homie in Boston.

I will return the favor with beer from ISMs anniversary party next month.

Stay safe and stay thirsty my friends.

I was recently on a podcast with Kate Hyde, the Head Brewer of Hand Brew Co.

What she had to say about why cask ale is special, and it’s resonance with an anti-digital generation was so insightful I wanted to write it up for an article.

I would love to know what people think, particularly any Gen-Z drinkers..

Pulled this one from the back of the cellar tonight. The 2020 Anniversary Bourbon County — aged two full years in twelve-year Weller barrels instead of the usual single year. Six years in and it has not missed a step. Zero heat, all depth. Wheated bourbon barrels were the right call for this base.

6.9% ABV. Happy Friday.

The first time I saw it I thought they priced it wrong but every time I have seen it it’s been the same.
