there are 3 lights that keep appearing in a random flight pattern directly west toward 281 for the last 10minutes starting around 9:55pm. Anyone else see these and know if those are something other than drones, etc?

Walked right by this little beauty, it lashed out and tried to bite me. My dog may have stepped on it without realizing and agitated it, it’s very small.

My family is considering buying into the Caliterra Neighborhood, I wanted to know of any opinions on it. We have lived in Austin up until now, but the neighborhood we are in has changed so much over the last decade its not quite the safe, family friendly vibe anymore.

We are nervous about the HOA, since currently we don't have one, and higher property tax rate since its in a development district. But we would love to be on city water/sewer.
Any thoughts or advice?

My husband drove back to retrace our path but wasn’t able to find it and we aren’t local to Dripping Springs.

Looking for day care for my Aussie and a good vet. Recommendations please

I've looked at DS Racquet club and have seen mixed reviews. racfit in Buda gets amazing reviews but it's in Buda. Anyone knowledgeable in this are and can recommend a good tennis club/community for a 4.0 recreational player? I like to play almost everyday whether it's a liveball class, chill late morning doubles w the mom crew just to be active (happy to play down and hit cooperatively), or match play events once in a while.

My family is considering moving to Dripping Springs.

We are a single-income household, my wife stays home with our 1yr old. We are in our early/mid 30s. We plan to have more kids too.

Would we find many other families like this in Dripping? Or is it mostly dual-income and slightly older families / older kids?

I'm considering retiring in dripping springs. I like the idea of Hill country. I plan to rent then buy a home. Questions; how is medical care, safety, restaurants, shopping, utility bills.

I'm moving from Florida where it's flat. I'm used to heat.

I live in Austin and am wanting to make the drive to Dripping Springs on Aug 12th to see the Perseid Meteor shower. The best view is supposed to be between 3 and 4 am. Is there anywhere we can “camp out” (sit with a blanket and a telescope) for the night in Dripping Springs? Is there a park that is open to the public with late hours? Any and all recommendations would be appreciated 🙏🏻
