Probably alone in my thinking but as the title says I believe the rapper Dave is way overhyped.

Listening to his verse on this new Cench album n I’m like is that the same flow again? Not to mention the content about private jets blah blah - to me, it’s content for bimbos.

When I first heard Dave back in 2015 or whenever it was it was his JYKL + HYD and it was like he’s was rapping with a purp. But now I can’t help but think he’s the UK Drake rapping surface level mantras for yuppies to post as captions on their latest instagram selfie.

Thoughts?

I can’t remember if it was on linkup TV GRM daily etc but I remember some UK artists raped over this best and had a music video somewhere I’ve totally forgotten the lyrics but it went something like “ If you got me then I got you “ sorry terrible description but that’s all I got

Please if some musical genius can figure this out for me you would be a life saver and would highly appreciate it immensely

Ops on this mix. Seeing mellow grime blow up again thanks to the big names so thought would switch it up a little bit

Personally I think he bodied him. Excited for the response. Might be the best uk disstrack since Lightwork imo.

Decent album!

It's a mazza at the second half 😮‍💨 : https://youtu.be/UHOjZC7LgMI?si=TSOAwTNax7zP1DKD

So a good few years back, a guy called B money dropped a song called Drippy. It was removed from youtube for whatever reason the beat has always stuck in my mind. My question is - can anyone point me in the right direction to find it. He released a few other songs which are still up on youtube but cant find it anywhere. Appreciate its a shot in the dark at this point

I know it’s not grime but I’m wondering if anyone can let me know the BB song I’m thinking of

The bars I remember are along the lines:

“I don’t listen to no rap unless it’s Gucci/Guwop/ Gucci Mane”

Think it’s early Blade

Hopefully you all know what I mean by classic flow. Examples are like Man Don't Care, Knock Your Block Off, and the new Block Tales by SL.

I only have 6 giggs songs in my Playlist, but I love his stable big boss tone

Had been wanting to contact him regarding the use of the Wave Like Us instrumental. I did find an Instagram, but it's private and I'm unsure if it's still in use.

Does anyone have this mixtape available to download ? Trying to find it on the net and I can't find anything.
