How well known are the trio in America outside of the podcast?
Curious from the UK. I know them and always see Jason and June pop up in things but I don’t think many people who don’t know the podcast would notice them. Case in point, I took a friend who is very clued up with film and TV to the London show who doesn’t listen and she had no idea who they were. (That was before Jason did Taskmaster so he is a little more known now.)
No shade intended, really just interested to know.

How Did This Get Made? #407: The Lair of the White Worm
Hugh Grant, Amanda Donohoe, and Peter Capaldi star in Ken Russell's nutso 1988 horror cult classic The Lair of the White Worm. Paul, June, and Jason discuss the plane sex dream sequence, if Lady Sylvia Marsh lives in the snake basket, all the phallic imagery, the rules of the white worm's followers, Amanda Donohoe's amazing performance and costumes, if the butler was weird or just British, and so much more.

Best road trip episodes!
Hello people of Reddit. I am driving from NY to Charleston overnight and I am wondering what episodes cracked you up the most? Looking to entertain myself through the mountains of West Virginia. I don't leave until the end of the week so I have time to watch the movies by packing. Much appreciated any recommendations!
Honestly, how hasn't Limitless been covered yet, especially after it was teased as a potential show all the way back in episode two?!

The new Mortal Kombat movie
Just watched it on a plane and it would be a fantastic episode of HDTGM. Amazing blend of cheese, action, weird effects, nonsense plot, bizarre fight choreography… this movie has it all! Plus Karl Urban chewing up the scenery like nobody’s business.
It’s an absolute blast. Please consider this one for the show!

Training caterpillars is possible
I listened to "A View to a Kill" episode and its totally possible for June to train caterpillars to remember you once they are butterflies.
Yes I know the experiment involved torture but it is possible

Any other 90s kids that remember this? Re: Jack
I grew up watching Jack all the time on vhs, and I was already feeling defensive going into the pod lmao but I remember being told either by the movie, Oprah, my parents, or somebody- it’s about progeria, but they just chose to deal with the growing up too fast angle (edit: and his impending death/mortality) and not have Jack look like a real kid with progeria. Am I crazy? Wasn’t that what Jack had?

Second Opinions Backing Vocals
Hi,
In the John Lajoie Second Opinions theme they use on studio episodes ("this movie was a piece of shit/but someone recommended it") what is the 3 word chant we hear in the backing vocals? I cant make out what's being said (aside from Jason's "What's! Up!,Jerks!")
Any clue anyone?

How Did This Get Made? #406: Jack
Robin Williams plays a 10-year-old boy who looks like a 40-year-old man in the 1996 Francis Ford Coppola film Jack—a movie that wants to be a dramedy but is actually a body horror flick about boomers and their mortality. Paul, Jason, and June cover Fran Drescher's inexplicable attraction to Jack, Bill Cosby farting in the treehouse, if Jennifer Lopez was tempted to be Jack's date, why Jack was NOT a shooting star, and so much more. Plus, Paul shares a childhood story about an awkward hotel check-in experience with his mom.

For June
Excuse me, I meant Juuuuuuuuuuuuune. As an avowed hater of King Charles I think she’d appreciate this savage mockery from British TV…
