Especially his more jazzy side like Permutations and Bricolage or even his Cujo record?

Idk how best to explain it other than I'm looking for albums that fall more on the ambient side of psybient, albeit aren't completely ambient or beatless. I'm looking for more albums that give me the feel or experience of floating along in an ocean of sound, albeit one that is changing and evolving. Something that feels peaceful and relaxing but yet is still catchy, still moves, and can still have some pleasant highs too.

Albums that I've listened to that have this vibe to me:

Leaving Home and Movements by Solar Fields

Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, and Interloper by Carbon Based Lifeforms

Nothing Lasts...But Nothing Is Lost by Shpongle

Distances and Ephemeris by H.U.V.A. Network

76:14 by Global Communication

Chill Out by The KLF

Lifeforms, Cascade, and Cascade 2020 by The Future Sound of London

Tessellations by Supersillyus

What all would you recommend?

My sister passed away almost 2 years ago now. It's one of those sobering things that makes me realize people and love will never be permanent and that every piece of advice, love or experience that could've been shared will never be here. Disappointed she can't see my successes today and that we can't share my future achievements.

This isn't self promo as I don't plan on fully releasing anything anytime soon, more so just putting this out there to share my feelings.

If this isn't IDM enough, no harsh feelings obviously not trying to flood this sub with unrelated things, just heavily inspired by Bogdan.

I've been confused on what to tell people when they ask for my genre.

I was working on a Korean nursery rhyme track and it ended up as a reimagined experimental track that sounds like a spooky ancient Korean dynastic song but revived into modern music... Any feedback on the mix, atmosphere, etc? (Cover art is self designed too, doodle art)

What everyones overall opinion this project and even this artist as a whole? recently found him by accident and Exham Priory is one of my favorites songs already in recent time.

By Magnum Opus I don’t necessarily mean best/favourite song. I mean most complete song with the fullest progression that defines everything the artist is about. A song that if all their other music was deleted could still define them entirely as an artist by itself.

In my opinion

Aphex Twin- Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michaels Mount

Boards of Canada- Dayvan Cowboy

Autechre- Bladelores

Squarepusher- Tetra-Sync

Made a little list of music I enjoy

Not a best of list, just my personal favorites.

Aphex Twin and Tipper are the cream of the crop for me. The meat and potatoes of the list is mostly there. I'll keep editing the stragglers in as I think of them.

^{Before you say ChatGPT, No I did not use ai help in any way. Iv been making lists like this on reddit for a while now.}
