Wait, you think humans just recently started doing dumb or bad shit….? Pickup a history book. Any time period.

There’s new people being born all the time with a clean slate. I don’t think “no animal cruelty” is at the top of most schools’ curriculum.

We’re living in the most peaceful time in the history of mankind. We’ve definitely learned a lot.

Do you expect everyone to be some perfect person? We’re barbaric animals. The fact we’re doing this well is kind of amazing tbh.

Thank you, despite how fucked up things are rn. It's still an amazing time to be alive. Infant mortality rates alone are the lowest they've ever been

No doubt! There’s still a lot of greatness in the world. Talk to a stranger. Talk to an immigrant who came here (I’m assuming you live in the first world) from an impoverished or war torn country.

I talked to a dude from Venezuela a couple days ago who immigrated to America and was cutting hair. Guy couldn’t be more happy.

People have always been like that since the dawn of mankind. the only thing that changed are the tools.

There are shitty people and good people everywhere.

Of course, social media will mostly show you the former as people are more interested in that.
