Sorry to get heavy here but...

I feel like this is what happens when you try to force societal conformity onto people.

He really looks miserable with the people that should by most definition make him happy.

I feel bad for the guy 😔

Same. He probably was feeling pressured to be married as many people do, regardless of their cultural upbringing.

Sucks for him, but I also kinda hope he gets to fish a lot and that his family has stuff that makes them happy the same way fishing makes him feel.

Dude, you might be projecting. From the looks of it, the dude is eastern looking, maybe balkan, where people generally don't smile for no reason. Im sure he is happy with his wife

I’m like cringing hard with all the projection going on. It’s so incredibly desperate to find a narrative in some boring pictures. The amount of ‘this man is in a terrible marriage/he’s being forced to be miserable/men shouldn’t be monogamous’ is so fucking weird.

Can you imagine being this guy and finding out his family pictures were shared all over the internet so complete strangers and teenagers spin a story about how he’s so repressed and his wife is terrible? What the hell.

Not everything needs the childish men vs women or wife bad trope.
