I mean, I have three sons and I'm fairly certain they all could do these things (not sure about "wraps"?). The future is not as dire as people think. My children were reading very well and excellent at geography in kindergarten. A lot of these are couched in "nicely" as every child is a bit different. But overall, these are not terribly stringent.
This isn’t a list of skills they need to know coming in to kindergarten, this is the teacher checking off the skills they have learned in kindergarten. I remember going over a similar check list at the end of kindergarten with my teacher and getting a sticker on it
I tutor math and there’s a lot of kids who are several years older who struggle with coins. That and telling time with an analog clock are good skills to still have even though they’re not used quite as often anymore
My husband had such a hard time with clocks as a kid. To the point that it was embarrassing for him. He’s been so consistent about teaching her about analog clocks! She is only three but she seems to understand that 15 minutes is 1-2-3 at least
