MISC. After Steve Jobs learned about Windows (which used a mouse & a GUI), he accused Bill Gates of stealing Apple's idea. Gates replied "Well Steve...I think it's more like we both had this rich neighbor named Xerox & I broke into his house to steal the TV set & found out that you had already stolen it."

Those were good ones, Wozniak got ratfucked so hard. I'd put Steve Jobs in Satan's mouth if I were Dante writing Inferno today.

Seems all this tech "innovators" either claim they created something they didn't or just outright steal it.

Because admitting your main skill is owning things sounds so much less cool than innovating.

When Woz and Jobs were working at Atari the head of the company announced a $5000 bounty for anyone who could reduce the number of computer chips needed for the game Breakout. Jobs couldn't solve the problem, but he got Wozniak to do it for him, Woz wasn't aware of how much money was in it for him so he didn't question the $250 bonus he received. Years later Jobs revealed in an interview how he had screwed over Wozniak and Woz burst into tears.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of the many ways that Steve Jobs used his best friend to further his own career. Jobs claimed many of Wozniak's successes as his own. He is a manipulator and a liar and even his closest friends are tools to him.
