MISC. After Steve Jobs learned about Windows (which used a mouse & a GUI), he accused Bill Gates of stealing Apple's idea. Gates replied "Well Steve...I think it's more like we both had this rich neighbor named Xerox & I broke into his house to steal the TV set & found out that you had already stolen it."

Typical bully. I’ve known and worked with plenty of people like this. One I work with now people are terrified of. He’s only around because he knows so much about our systems and architecture and he supports one of the core back-end systems that run everything.

And he is extremely intelligent. He often belittles people. He tried with me in a small meeting but I stood up to him and made him look dumb in a meeting. Since then he backs down with me, especially in larger meetings, and will actually respond to my slacks and I guess ‘likes’ me as much as that is possible for him. So people go through me to get to him lol.

Smart as he is I don’t think he is picking up that they are designing new things around him to make him obsolete

I would meet folks like that outside for a very stern meeting.
